Critical Raw Materials and the Economy

This report (in Dutch) from the Netherlands Materials Observatory (NMO) offers an economic perspective on critical materials and disruptions to their supply. It begins by outlining the challenge based on existing literature. It then examines how a disruption to the supply of critical materials affects businesses, government, and citizens - and to what extent governments have a role to play through policy intervention. Finally, it shows how economists and policymakers view critical materials.
