About the NMO
The National Raw Materials Strategy (NGS) calls for more knowledge about the role of critical raw materials and for the monitoring of developments in this area. To this end, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, has tasked the Geological Survey of the Netherlands (GDN), part of TNO, with establishing and organising the Netherlands Materials Observatory (NMO).
